Pics Day 13 ...

Day 13 - I should not get ideas! I came up with this crazy idea for a rounded control panel for my cab and decided I'd go ahead and make it so. I picked up 25 buttons, 2 8 way joysticks, took my spinner from the temporary control panel and added a trackball and a IPAC controller. I also recycled two marquee plexi's that I had cut incorrectly the first time around. Now I can move them from the Wasted category back to the used category. The new control panel is a half circle which overhangs the side of the cabinet by about 5 inches on each side. The plexy will be backlit by some purple high intensity LEDs adding to the purple theme I've got going. The LED's can be seen in picture 12. I picked up 1 red button, 2 purples, 2 player 1 and 2 buttons and the rest are black. The new control panel required cutting the cabinet control panel arms down. Pictures 21 and 22 show the cabinet right before I ripped the temporary control panel out.
