Intro Video ...

The MameWah front end allows you to load and run an intro movie before the menu screen is displayed. I often wondered what could you possibly put in there. I experiemented with a smaller version of the arcade'84 video and while it was cool showing the cab to first time users, it was a pain if you had to watch it each and every time you started up MameWah. One day, I came up with the perfect solution. I would create an intro video (personalized for my cabinet, of course!) I enlisted a friend of mine who is going to school to be a game designer. He took the sprites for the pac man game and created a little video for me. I went in and laid the audio and sound effects to complete the video. The result is a 20 second 'Pac Man' intermission style video for my Ultra Violet Cabinet. The original AVI file I use on my cab is 12GB, the video displayed on this page is in SWF and only 400K.
