The Greater Youngstown Monitoring Association gives out a variety of awards throughout the year. Here are the recipients...


President's Award - This award is given to any club member past or present, living or deceased who has worked towards the betterment of The GYMA.

2008 - Jack Matesevac, KB8GDW

Sadly Jack passed away before we could tell him the news of his award. Starting in 2009, the President's Award will be redesignated the Jack Matesevac Memorial Award.

The Frequency Award - This award is given to an individual or organization who has made some impact in the communications hobby or industry, in a field closely related to the communication hobby or industry, or has used communication in a life-impacting situation or event.
